My goal is to capture every detail of your wedding day, from the little giggles to the happy tears, the moments you may have missed, the times you'll never forget, the details you painstakingly put together, and the guests you partied with all night long! This is my calling. I truly love my profession. It took me a long time to get here… and I cannot imagine having any other career! 

And now for a little about myself! 
My name is Emily Huval, and I was born and raised in Southeast Texas! Currently I live and work in Austin, TX doing portrait and wedding photography. I also travel to my hometown quite often. My approach is part documentary and part portraiture! I love being a "fly on the wall" but I will step in whenever help is needed! In 2010, I graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. I have been doing outdoor portraits and weddings for the past 10 years and I absolutely love it! 

I may seem like a big goofball at times, but I do whatever it takes to make you smile and to get the shot. My favorite part about being an outdoor photographer is venturing off to new places, free to roam and never tied down to a studio. I am always ready for a little adventure. Take me for a hike.  The more off the beaten path- the better! Not much of an outdoorsy person? Take me to your favorite ice cream parlor or local bakery :)

I am a first time mom as of September 2019, my son is my entire world! During my free time, I love going out to eat with my husband (we love trying knew places in Austin! Feel free to just drop me a line telling me your favorite restaurant or dessert spot!) I love watching cartoons- Adventure Time and The Venture Brothers are my all time favorites... and I'm very guilty of binge watching waayyy too much tv while I edit images!
